William Monk RE (1863-1937) Framed Signed Etching, UCL Main Campus, London

A smart looking framed etching by William Monk RE, signed by the artist in pencil to the lower right. Showing the main campus University College London (UCL) from the Calendarium Londoniensis 1910, which featured architectural prints of iconic London buildings. Monk was a fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and created many fine prints of iconic buildings and cityscapes.

The frame is in good condition but has some knocks. The mount is clean but there is some discolouration from aging around the border. The main print image and plate are clean and in great condition. The picture is ready to hang and would make a welcome addition to any home or maybe a gift to a UCL alumni friend.
