A graduate of the Slade School of Fine Art in London, Oliner emerged in the mid-20th century as part of a wave of women artists carving out space in a traditionally male-dominated art world. Her work often explores the female figure with sensitivity and psychological depth, drawing comparisons to contemporaries such as Gwen John and Paula Rego.
Oliner’s etchings are particularly admired for their lyrical line work and nuanced emotional tone. She has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad, with works held in private and public collections.
